What We Need From You
- A single point of contact to coordinate scheduling
- Access to staff involved in the workflow for short interviews
- Any existing documentation for the process (if available — not required)
- A 30-minute kickoff call to confirm scope
02 — Systems Requirements & Selection
3–6 weeks, through UATSupport choosing and implementing the right platform — requirements gathering, vendor comparison, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) management — so the system fits how the business actually works.

- Vendor/option comparison against your requirements
- A structured UAT plan carried through go-live
- Stakeholder sign-off documentation at each milestone
What We Need From You
- Access to key stakeholders (e.g., HR, Finance, IT) for requirements interviews
- Any current vendor contracts or system documentation
- A budget range for the new system, if known
- Availability of decision-makers for vendor demos and sign-off
- UAT participants during the testing window
03 — Data & Reporting Setup

- A documented, repeatable data pipeline
- Defined key metrics/KPIs tied to your business goals
- A short training session on using and updating the dashboard
What We Need From You
- Access to your data sources (exports, system logins, or spreadsheets)
- Clarity on which metrics matter most to the business
- A sample of historical data for validation
- A subject-matter expert available to confirm the numbers look right
- An active Power BI or Tableau license (or agreement on which to use)
04 — Custom Automation & Integration Build
Discovery: 3–5 hrs · Build: scoped after specBespoke scripts, automated workflows, and system-to-system integrations built to spec — for needs that go beyond a standard audit or systems project. Priced in two phases: a fixed-fee Discovery & Spec, then a Build quote based on that spec.
What Valens Standard Delivers
- A written technical spec defining exactly what will be built
- A working custom tool, script, or integration built to that spec
- Basic documentation on how the tool works and is maintained
- An ongoing maintenance & support plan option
What We Need From You
- Access/credentials for any systems being integrated (API keys, logins)
- Sample data files representative of real use
- A clear description of the business rules and edge cases involved
- A technical contact on your side, if you have in-house IT
- Sign-off on the spec before build work begins
Prices shown reflect introductory rates for early engagements. Final scope, timeline, and price for your project will be confirmed in a signed Statement of Work before work begins.
